Not sure what to do with all the down time?

Jenny says that I've told people I'm bored or there isn't anything to do. I said at times it gets dull, but that's not bordom. It's been very relaxing so far, and soon enough we'll be on a plane back to Moscow. We just aren't use to this much down time I guess. The picture above is located in their "town square" of sorts. It's an even bigger than when we first say it from the backside during Trip 1. There is a ton of history here, and you can tell the people that live here are very proud of their city and culture. There are still a ton of symbols of the old communist regime, which is strange because in Moscow they took down all the Lennin and Stalin statues after the end of the cold war.

So tomorrow we go back to the orphanage for what seems to be the last visit. Then hopefully Saturday we pick him up. Things are going to change drastically, so it's best for us to enjoy the time we have, right? I can't wait until he's with us, but I can tell already that I'm going to miss sleeping in!

I'm sure tomorrow's post will be more interesting. Now Jenny says I'm boring to all of you? Feel free to post comments or questions, and I'll do my best to answer them.

  1. OMG! I have to laugh because you guys sound like us...I was giving Kip my own commentary on his posts as well...he even erased one because of my commentary...I beleive it too was a product of having a little more time on our hands than we are accustomed to :) I am enjoying all of the posts (even the boring ones, ha) as it gives me a true feel of what we are going to be experiencing in a few weeks. Thanks!
