Today we went to the baby house and celebrated Luke's first birthday (the other couple's son). Maddux had fun and really liked the chocolate cake and loved the apple juice!
We found out today Maddux can indeed walk (they said he hadn't started). He was doing pretty well and getting around good.
He did say "da da" but think he was just saying "yes" in Russian, "dah" is Russian for 'yes' here.
We were cramped in a Toyota Corolla for the 5 hours total drive. Rich was lucky and got the front seat but rest of us were on top of each other in the back. Vacilli was our driver and very nice, he drove over 100 at times. Driving is much different here, I wouldn't do so well. I am sure everyone would pass me and would get a lot of people honking! :)
We don't see Maddux again until next Tuesday so will have a few days of just sleeping,cafes and shopping.
